Its something that is far far
vaster than the sky

In the forest of life I lived
I thought the world was mine
In my pride i didn't know
that i myself is thine
Till you took me by my hand
and made my spirits fly
what love! oh mother

What can I give you mother
on this sacred day
when all over the world
to you has come to pray
I know i can't give you
anything thats my own
so i stand before you
all alone and offer
myself to you mother sai
I lay myself at rest
in your hands divine
I am your child
in the wilderness i cry
come what may i am thine
When I am tired mother sai
It is to you I call
for i knew in your love
you will never let me fall
Its your love that brought me
to the heights where eagles soar
and it will sustain me for evermore
