Articles: Poetry | Spring is a King of Hope - Mrs. sharmila Sanka
| |
When clouds of illusion compete to sway
You sometimes even borrow some sorrows
Of your family and friends to bring light into their lives
With the shine of ‘Hope’ which is the very life of all beings.
Nature of God’s creation itself is a great message to humanity
Doesn’t the gloomy night’s passage silently declare the arrival of the Sun?
Doesn’t the sweaty day caused by the Sun announce the advent of the romantic moon?
Day after day we live in hope, live with hope and live for hope.
When you are drowned in endless pain
Remember you have to have a hope that
Happiness follows every sorrow as
Pleasure is an interval between two pains.
When you fall so deep, you can rise too
When you rise too high, you can fall too
The former gives you hope while the latter
Takes away your hope to let you remain humble
As our feet play hide and seek in the heat
As the Sun facilitates the nature turn green
As the colorful flowers take pride in their beauty
Fall slowly arrives as if to shrink their hopes.
As the wavy air blows the leaves away from their parents
They land their light bodies on Mother Earth
As every heart withers away with the season of Fall
Their hopes start to drip from their lives.
It assumes it is a mighty king and
Every one bows before the chilly Winter
But as if to collapse its pride to earth
Emerges the Spring- a King of Hope.
Where there is a Fall, there is a Spring
Where there is a Spring, there is a Change
Where there is change there is Hope
Where there is hope there is Life.
