Dear Lord- the granter of ‘life’, who also lives in the human body in the form of soul,
Your child pleads for the longevity of my parents and to shower your grace on them
Let your love pacify their lives; let your grace trace their being
Let their goodness garland their lives; they are old enough to let problems wrap their bodies and souls and so is our prayer to grant them sound health.
Here is an opportunity for their children to sprinkle their love and gratitude on their Godly parents who are wise and experienced; who are noble and devotional; who are loving and admiring; who are giving and forgiving but never getting and forgetting.
To such selfless parents, what greatest gift can we ever offer than to hack down our roots of selfishness?
We children would have made many mistakes in the name of Love and relation.
Would they forgive our petty attitude and thoughtless actions?
They might have a tender and loving heart to forgive us but do we deserve to receive their forgiveness?
‘Sorry’ and ‘Thank you’ are the cute little precious words we seldom utter to our parents but they are the most deserved ones to whom those words ought to be offered with humility and love.
Let the world go topsy-turvy, we have faith in you O Lord that your cool shadow of love shades their lives and lets them live in Peace and Longevity.
You are the creator of our lives; they are our creators of True, unbounded selfless Love.
May you take a part of our lives and grant them longevity wrapped with Love and Peace.
