Malaysian Tomato Sambal

Ingredients : 2 big tomatoes (peel the skin) 2cm cinnamon 1 big onion sliced 6tbsp oil few curry leaves Mixed ingredients for spice : soak 10 dry chillies in warm water chop 1 big onion few cloves of garlic and a small ginger piece grind the above ingredients and set aside Method : Heat oil on the frying pan , put in the cinnamon next the onions, curry leaves and fry. Next , add the grinded paste ingredients and add salt. Let it cook for 10 minutes under a low flame and cover it. Finally , add in the tomatoes. This is a spicy sambal.... and can be served with rice , dosa or idly.
