Not who speaks
I write to you in the sincere hope that you will consider these words even if they do come through just little old me…*s*
Love is never lost, for love is eternal.
Being human, we have that indefinable capacity to love and feel love, which is our birthright.
Love is absolute and exists on its own – love is pure and untainted, regardless of that which we love.
Our capacity to love determines the quality and happiness of our existence. Never turn your back on loving, for it is the key to joy and this existence.
If we love someone or something and they prove to be ungrateful, or unworthy, never blame love.
For our love is independent of the people or objects we bestow our love upon. We should see love as separate from the objects we love and thank God with tears in our eyes that we can even feel it.
It is never the person or thing that we love, but rather the qualities displayed, in and through that person-this is why we can fall in and out of love. As a person stops displaying the qualities we love, we move on to the next person displaying those qualities. It is those qualities we seek and love, not the person…..*my theory anyway*
Love again. Love again. Love again.
Our desires are what rule us and the root source of all human pain and suffering is frustrated desire (when we cant have things our way)…from the little child that throws a tantrum because his parents wont let him have his way, all the way through to the CEO who is upset because the board wont let him try out his plans for expansion- Different scenarios same root cause-Frustrated human desire!
Who knows how we arrive at the object of our desires? Maybe it is an attempt to fill some void which we need in order for us to be truly happy….Maybe the only true abiding happiness is achieved by going deep within yourself and developing the qualities you so admire, when you see it displayed in others.
However it happens, once we decide we want something or someone and cant get it, or are denied it, we become angry or sad or depressed, or we feel we are not worthy enough; yet this is the only way we can exist together in this world- by denying each other, for if every one else just compromised their own desires to give you what you want, then they are dooming themselves to unhappiness and misery down the line!!
Now listen carefully for this is the insight that will set you free and ensure that you never ever compromise what you want or ever give up……If you cannot get what you want from one source then keep trying other sources until you get what you want…Do u get it?….or you will compromise your desire to fit in with the currently available source…the path to unhappiness and frustration is littered with compromised desires. It is up to you whether you are going to accept whatever comes along or hold out for what it is that you expect!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The little person inside each one of us, (which is composed of pure innocent desire), whom we are killing each time we deny ourselves our true desires, will be heard…sooner or later……Beware, for the more you repress your true desires the more violent and life altering, will be the eruption of your true self/desires when it demands to be heard!
The truth I suppose is that we all desire different things at different points in our life, and whatever the basis for our reasoning, if we are true to ourselves in that time, then we are condemned to pursue that path until that desire is extinguished.
“Compromise” to me is a dirty swearword, for it is the path of mediocrity and dissatisfaction and settling….
If like me, you are grateful for the love shared and the closeness we have attained with different souls, at different times, then take that love and love again…….
