What to do? What to do?
Be rich and famous? Be gregarious?
Be so cute, traffic bows with nary a dispute?
Be so wealthy that possessions are a given formality?
Work hard? Wake early? Be focused? Handle responsibility? Face up to reality?
Worship respect? Worship money?
Be the one who trounces everybody? Be number one?
Then, why?
Why does my soul feel so empty?
Why does my spirit feel so cheated?
Can we balance it all?
Can our Spirit fit into all our gaining and achieving?
Our Creator…
Oh, that he would speak, and settle all unrest!
Oh, that base emotions would be cut out and purity, allowed to triumph!
That we be allowed to transcend our earthbound limitations.
God exists. He is.
We are him in our innermost souls…
Returning home?
Is that the pursuit of life?
Surely all the rest is just a passionate waste of building and toiling for someone else’s hidden purposes.
All prophets unite in me…
I feel their power…
All, messengers from the Infinite
That is you, that is me…
