Articles: Poetry | Day And Night - Mr. Naveen
| |
By the passing of day and night
Wonder about it I might
Thinking how much time I wasted
How much of life have I tasted.
In a place of eternal spring,
Or even of eternal summer
Grateful of it I may
In the beautiful month of May.
Day have passed, night has fallen
The mist came and all was hidden
I did give day a thought
Have I done but naught
All my thoughts,
Clouded by a veil of mist.
A new day has come
Of course morning came
The Sun woke up beaming
Ready to come embracing
With her warm hands of gold
Lifting away the cold.
Waste not another day and night.
Do what you must with might
And also with courage and valour
For it will be a day you might savour
When Night falls like a stream
Remember it's not a dream.
