whaz life?

Life is a journey, not a guide tour. Life is a promise; fulfill it. Life's problems wouldn't be called `hurdles’ if there weren’t a way to get over them I take a simple view of living. It is, keep your eyes open and get on with it. He is blessed over all mortals who loses no moment of the passing life. Take your life in your own hands, and a terrible thing happens: no one to blame. Live so that your friends can defend you but never have to. If we could learn how to balance rest against effort, calmness against strain, quiet against turmoil, we would assure ourselves of joy in living and psychological health for life. The mere sense of living is joy enough. To get more out of life, give more of yourself. Preparation for old age should begin not later than one's teens. A life which is empty of purpose until 65 will not suddenly become filled on retirement. If you haven't the strength to impose your own terms upon life, you must accept the terms it offers you. Life satisfaction occurs most often when people are engaged in absorbing activities that cause them to forget themselves, lost track of time and stop worrying. * Life is like a blanket too short. You pull it up and your toes rebel, you yank it down and shivers meander about your shoulder; but cheerful folks manage to draw their knees up and pass a very comfortable night. * We must accept life for what it actually is -- a challenge to our quality without which we should never know of what stuff we are made, or grow to our full stature. * The best way to succeed in life is to act on the advice we give to others. * The trouble with life in the fast lane is that you get to the other end in an awful hurry. * “Uncertainty” is the key word in our lives. We must live with uncertainty and steer our whip through life’s perilous paths. * The art of living lies less in eliminating our troubles than in growing with them. * The value of life lies not in the length of days, but in the use we make of them. * Our care should not be to have lived long as to have lived enough. * There is no meaning to life except the meaning man gives his life by the unfolding of his powers. * If we lead good lives, the times are also good. As we are, such are the times. * You only live once; but if you live it right, once is enough. * Life is not easy for any of us. But what of that? We must have perseverance and above all confidence in ourselves. We must believe that we are gifted for something and that this thing must be attained. * Life affords no higher pleasure than that of surmounting difficulties. * The true riches of Life are hidden in the hearts and minds of man. * Know where you're going in life. * The art of life lies in constant readjustment to our surroundings. * Life is what we make it, always has been, always will be. * Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage. * When shall we live if not now? * Purpose is what gives life a meaning. * He who postpones the hour of living is like the rustic who waits for the river to run out before he crosses. * Life is a grindstone. Whether it grinds you down or polishes you up depends upon what you're made of. * Everyman's life lies within the present, for the past is spent and done with, and the future is uncertain. * To expect life to be tailored to our specifications is to invite frustration. * Life guarantees a chance – not a fair shake. * A life that hasn't a definite plan is likely to become driftwood. * Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage. * Be a life long or short, its completeness depends on what it was lived for. * All of us tend to put off living. We are all dreaming of some magical rose garden over the horizon instead of enjoying the roses that are blooming outside our windows today. * Our lives are somewhat fixed by date, partly in the cards. The power of positive thinking will not turn paraplegics into quarterbacks or the blind into astronomers. But while a leopard can't change its spots, it can change its habits. Genes may make us susceptible to diabetes, but we can reduce the risk by avoiding obesity. Nature may play a role in lung cancer, but appropriate physical exercise may be a winning card. For in life, as in poker, you don't need a royal flush to be a winner. Sometimes a pair of deuces - a weak hand played well - is plenty. * Let your boat of life be light, packed only with what you need - a homely home and simple pleasures, one or two friends worth the name, someone to love and to love you, enough to eat and enough to wear, and a little more than enough to drink - for thirst is a dangerous thing. * It is extremely important not to have one's life all blocked out, not to have the days and weeks totally organised. It's essential to leave gaps and interludes for spontaneous action, for it is often in spontaneity and surprised that we open ourselves to the unlimited opportunities and new areas brought into our lives by chance. It is often in consequence of these very moments that our life paths take their most interesting turnings. * Life is like an echo. It always gives you back what you give out! It is a mirror of your actions. If you want more love, give more love! If you want more kindness, give more kindness! If you want understanding and respect, give understanding and respect! If you want people to be patient and respectful to you, give patience and respect. This rule of nature applies to every respect of our lives. Life always gives you back what you give out. Your life is not a coincidence, but a mirror of your own doings. * Life is like a game of chess, in which there are an infinite number of complex moves possible. The choice is open, but the move contains within itself all future moves. One is free to choose, but what follows is the result of one's choice. * Life is a song - sing it. Life is a game - play it Life is a challenge - meet it Life is a dream - realise it Life is a sacrifice - offer it Life is a love - enjoy it * I think the purpose of life is to be useful, to be responsible, to be compassionate. It is, above all, to matter: to count, to stand for something, to have made some difference that you lived at all. * Life is not a 100 yard dash, but more a cross-country run. If we sprint all the time, we not only fail to win the race, but never even last long enough to reach the finish line. * Be glad of life because it gives you the chance to love and to work and to play and to look up at the stars. * I take a simple view of life; keep your eyes open and get on with it. * The ability to handle life is simply the ability to handle one's own mind. We fail first in thought and only afterward in action. * All life is an experiment, the more you experiment the better. * No one ever ruined his eyesight by looking at the bright side of life. * Life can only be understood backwards; but it must be lived forwards. * Life is the flower of which love is the honey. * Life is unchartered territory. It reveals its story one moment at a time. * There is no shortcut to life. To the end of our days, life is a lesson imperfectly learned. * Don't hurry, don't worry. You're only here for a short visit. So be sure and stop to smell the flowers. * The meaning of life cannot be told; it has to happen to a person. * In the game of life, nothing is less important than the score at half time. * How far we travel in life matter far less than those we meet on the way. * Don't waste life in doubts and fears. * The great secret of life is work. * Life is like an onion. You peel it off a layer at a time and sometimes you weep. * Life is not dated merely by years. Events are sometimes the best calendars. * Life is a battle in which we fall from wounds we receive in running away. * Life's under no obligation to give us what we expect. We take what we get and are thankful it's no worse than it is. * There are two things to aim at in life, first to get what you want, and after that, to enjoy it. Only the wisest of mankind achieve the second. * Life can't give me joy and peace; it's up to me to will it. Life just gives me time and space; it's up to me to fill it. One of the secrets of life is to make stepping stones out of stumbling blocks. * The wisdom of life consists in the elimination of nonessentials. * Life is about timing. * Every man has his own destiny; the only imperative is to follow it, to accept it, no matter where it leads him. * Wake up with a smile and go after life. Live it, enjoy it, taste it, smell it, feel it. Make it a rule of life never to regret and never look back. We all live in suspense, from day to day, from hour to hour; in other words, we are the hero of our own story. The value of life lies, not in the longest of days, but in the use we make of them. Don't live life through a rear view mirror. The game of life is not so much in holding a good hand as playing a poor hand well. There is no meaning to life except the meaning man gives his life by the unfolding of his powers. It is now, and in this world, that we must live. Life is 10 percent what you make it, and 90 percent how you take it. Don't let the past hold you back, you're missing the good stuff. Life's short. If you don't look around once in a while you might miss it. The brightest future will always be based on a forgotten past, you can't go on well in life until you let go of your past failures and heartaches. Dream what you want to dream; go where you want to go; be what you want to be, because you have only one life and one chance to do all the things you want to do. Make the best of everything in life Life is fragile, Life is short. Do not take Life for granted. Live a balance lifestyle and enjoy Life!
