There is a group of 7 sardars who plan on going to Delhi to thank Finance Minister for his revolutionary economic policies, from which they had greatly benefitted. They agree that it would
be appropriate to carry a gift to express their gratitude and
decide upon taking a new car with them.
So they go to a car dealer and ask him how much a new car
would cost. The dealer tells them that the new car (a.k.a Premier Padmini) would cost about R28K and if they all conntributed R13K each, it would pay for that. They quickly pay the dealer and take the car to Delhi with them.
However, they somehow feel that they have been taken for granted and overly charged for the car. After the initial formalities, they ask the finance minister if he could verify that the dealer had not cheated them. Who else is more qualified to verify the deal than the Finance Minister himself?
The Minister says he doesn't think it is a bad deal but says
'No problem! I will verify it via mathematical computation'. First I'll use the method of addition:

Next I'll verify it with multiplication:
