I wrote this poem on the eve of the visit of our beloved Guru and an outstanding scholar of International repute, Dr.Aralumallige Parthasarathy,Bangalore(INDIA) to Auckland(NZ) March 2006

You dwelled in our hearts like a friend
You instilled in us the spiritual trend
You are an incredible Guru of a different kind
In the far-flung Island
In the tiny urban land
We lived a humdrum life
Spending the restless routine life
Its’ your warm friendship
That Solaced Our Hearts
Its’ the Light of your knowledge
That blossomed our Spiritual buds
||You dwelled in our hearts like a friend…..||
Your piquant words of wisdom
Sprinkled the drops of Honey
that quenched our thirsty thoughts
And gave a phillip to our lives
Strange are the ways of God
Who is beyond our perceptions
Nevertheless your Classes of Tuition
Resulted in the bliss through Intuition
||You dwelled in our hearts like a friend…..||
Your emphatic assertion that
“Even the faintest of the Faith
If held securely in the hearts then,
Bountiful blessings by ‘Bhagawan’
Are bound to be bestowed “ has
Indeed sparkled stars in our stressed souls
We construed from your tons of Talk that
‘DAASA’ literature is for a ‘dynamic future’
‘DAASA SAHITYA’ would lead to ‘Janma raahitya’.
To me, the Acronym ‘D.A.A.S.A’ means,
‘Divinity Acknowledged And Supremacy Accepted.
Your rhetoric speeches have
rippled revolutionary ideas that
revitalised dormant impressions
reverberating ambience with 'OM'niscience
We thus hail you as the 'HERO OF HOLY THOUGHTS'
the appellation 'Vidyavachaspathi' is just befitting.
