Articles: Poetry | Within the closed walls - Ms. Hakila Sikhamani Pasham
| |
Gloominess of a grieving soul
Cry out for a friendly whole
To wipe away the loneliness
Prevailing within the closed walls
To pick one or tow
To name many, not even few
Though present, cannot share
Nor give the needed care
Why live these isolated lives
In the buzzing routine strive
Attending to the daily chores
Will we ever reach the vibrant shores
Though we look trim all time
Have you ever thought of what is prime
Neither wealth not fame
But your kindness will remind of you
Beyond the grave
Will this loneliness ever end
And give a life a new bend
Breaking all the shackles of dreariness
And fill the soul with happiness
Pull down the walls & break free
Soar high in the sky, like an eagle scot-free
Show the world there is vivacious life
Within the closed walls
