As the fluttering sail on the ship
Torn and tormented I stand
Against the unruly wind
Wonder how long can I withstand
Worn-out by the hardships
Thrown onto an island
With no strength to move
Lay lifeless on the sand
Ruthless winds hurl sand billows
That pierces the skin deep below
Rake up the bruised soul
For all the blood to show
With writhing pain I move
Endless gloomy shores I see
Washed by the turbulent waves
Splashed by the violent sea
Tears flow as a rivulet
Down to the sea
Taste as salty ever
That’s how they are bound to be
Wish tears could wash
All the memories afar
Which I can never recollect
And crush them to mar
Up in the sky I see a blanket
Filled with the faded stars
They make me wonder
Are they the pieces of my broken heart...
