An old layman approached a junior civil judge's court. He entered the court hall and wanted to narrate his story directly to the Judge. On seeing the oldman, the judge who is very young, humourously asked the old man:
judge : what it the matter why did you come here.
old man: Sir I have a problem I want justice in this matter.
Judge: you cannot directly come to court. You have to take the assistance of pleader and file a petition in the court.
Old man: Sir I dont know any body here and I can not pay fees to the lawyer for this.
judge: No problem, Go and search for a pleader. Many pleaders are available' beneath the Tree' in the court compound. They dont have any work, and they will assist you if you pay even five rupees.
Old man: thank you sir for your advice. I will come back with the petition.
The entire thing was being observed by an young and intelligent lawyer. He got annoyed with the Judge's comments on the lawyers. Immediately he walked out of court hall, contacted the old man, assured all the required help with out any remunation, and asked him to go back to the court hall and convey few words to the judge. The old man came back to court hall with empty hands.
Judge: why did you come back. where is your petition.
Old man: Sir, I am not able to find even a single lawyer beneath the tree. When I enquired about 'pleaders beneath the Tree' one lawyer advised me not to search for them, as all those lawyers are not available here and 'they have become Judges' recently.
Judge: ?????
Thank you
