Thou art the Master of sounds
Thou wieldiest in thy hands
The blazing thunder and the drum
Of cosmic time, the rhythmic beat
Of thy cosmic drum hast been
The source of sounds and the creation of worlds
* From the sound of NA
Thou hast created nature and names and forms
* From the sound of MAH
Thou hast created the Mother of light and cosmic fire
* From the sound of NAMAH
Thou hast created elements of earth, fire and water
Man and woman and the moon and mind
All names and forms in this world art thy NAMAH
* From the sound of SI
Thou hast created the Sky and Stars
Sun, heaven and the cosmic winds
Sight for the eye, senses and throb of heart
And also the movement of the cosmic forces
* From the sound of VA
Thou hast created the life force and waters of life
Gods and Angels, demi-gods and demi-urges
The souls and Spirits, thoughts and nectar of love
And thou hast entered into the soul of the universe
* From the sound of YA
Thou hast created the life breath and vital airs
The demons and hell, the eternal ego, fear and anger
Sounds and words and the seasons of life
And thou hast created death and the illusion
OM obeisance to the Lord of sounds and creation
The Lord is signified by the sound of OM
OM is the sacred word in the beginning of creation
May we meditate upon thy sacred word OM!
May we know thee, O Lord of creation in the sound of OM!
May we live in thee, O Lord of bliss and consciousness OM!
Obeisance to Thee, O Lord of universe
who is called by the scriptures as SIVAH or VISHNU
And whose glory is seen in the sacred formula of words
* OM NAMAH SIVAAYA* which means
Obeisance to the Lord of universe, ever auspicious
OM NAMAH SIVAAYA!!! OM NAMAH SIVAAYA!!!
