This is a message for the aspiring youth thinking of going abroad for studies.
What I am about to tell you is a story of my cousin , who went to study in Australia lost his way in the middle. The below incident should be an eye opener
My cousin had done his Graduation & was looking for studying abroad and wrote written tests for that. He got good marks.
From his family his father was not interested in sending him abroad for studies, due money constraint. He had a great support from my mother & my brother. Both of them persuaded babai to send him to Australia for further studies. His father took loan from Bank & sent him.
He used to call us every week & say that he is studying well & doing part time job over there. Like that 1 year passed. One of his friend from Australia had called us & said that, my cousin had taken debt from him & he is not giving it back & he is not studying over there & is simply wasting his time. When I called him my cousin, he said that it is not true & I can ask his roommates, if I want. He said the same answer his father & my family members. His 2 years study Visa also expired
One day, we got a call from his roommates, that he has’nt studied and wasted his time & money in playing “Casino” & took lot of debts & it took lot of time for him to clear his debt & he has no money to come back to India.
We requested his friends to send him back to India & we would repay the travel cost. All of us are in a shell shock after hearing the incident.
What I pray to all the young aspirants who intend to go abroad for studies, Please keep in your mind the difficulties faced by your parents to send you abroad for studies / jobs & do justice to the faith incurred by your parents on u.
