 TEMPLE
Temple is a place of worship where the idol of God is installed. Thwe installation ceremony
is performed by priests and learned scholars who are adept in that field. Worshiping an idol
is known as murti pooja or vigraha aradhana . It helps the seeker to concentrate on the lord
by continuously repeating and chanting a mantra. The mantrea contains beejaakshar's who have
immense potential. They fullfil devote's wishes- Whether they are mundane or divine. There
are two methods of worshiping - SAGUNO UPASANA and NIRGUNO UPASANA. Advanced seekeres can have concentration even without fixing looks on idol. For them 'DEHO DEVA LAYA PROKTO JEEVA PROPKTA SANATANAHA' Human Body itself is a temple where god resides.
In this kaliyuga the only way to liberation or moksha is NAMA Japa i.e., repition of holy NAME. There is no difference between name and namee ( THE GOD).
In Hindu Temple the bell signifies OM KARA. Lighting of camphor signifies Jyothy Darshana- Seeking god in light form. The sanctumn sanctorum is the actual place of installation of gods idol.
NADO UPASANA is another way of reaching GOD. Thyagaya thru his immortal keertanas invoked lord RAMA. Anammya another stolwort in bahakti marga praises lord Venkateswara in his keetanas.
