Who does not desire for fruit and did good deeds in his earlier birth, that man’s heart will be full of divinity. Atma jgnana automatically comes to him because of his devotion. And with his Atma jgnana he gets moksha .
In kalinga dynasty Veerbahu becomes King. Because of his previous birth he did penance and yoga abhyasa, but he never got moksha. Being his last birth, because of the left over karma phala he became a yoga bhrashta. He was born to a King. After that when he grew he became the King of Kalinga kingdom .He ruled for ten years.
Because of his earlier birth’s Adhyamic samskara and of Divine intelligence vairagya has came to him. He within himself felt “Why am I go on eating drinking sleeping and doing
the same .My previous Kings could not come up at all. Money , kingdom only they had.I have no peace .I want atma jgnana, ever lasting happiness and immortality. I must find a Guru and get his blessings to carry on a deeksha.
He called for pandits , sanyasins sadhus and mahatmas by inviting them .He mentioned in the invitation that who so ever gives me upadesa , ensures that I get Atma satkshatkara for him he gives half of his kingdom. If they fail to do so, they will be put behind the bars.
Many a pandits, sadhus called on the King and gave things like panchakshari, ashtakshari etc. But they could not satisfy the King. All these were attained by him in his earlier birth. So all those were kept in the jail
As the king felt uneasy and became peace less. One day Siva came in disguise of a worker. He looked black, and with torn clothes and stood in front of the King. While welcoming him the king went forward and received the worker. But the King could not identify him without knowing that he is God himself. Then the worker lifted his hand and said” Stop” and the very soon he disappeared. The King understood that his mind, movement to be controlled. While standing he closed his eyes without thinking other matters controlled his mind. Every thing has become static. Only because of his previous experience of dhyana and yoga he stood like an idol without opening his eyes. Thus in the same state he spent 6 years. Ministers for the sake of the kingdom, they took his ring for stamping and they carried on
Suddenly, the King opened his eyes and asked for his Guru. Ministers said “Rajan! Your Guru spoke one word and disappeared. You are only stood like this for solid 6 years. We carried on all works using you ring See the document using your ring print.
Then the King was flabbergasted and felt to himself “Six years passed in a minute .I enjoyed great happiness and having tasted such happiness I do not wish to carry on the kingship, Thus having felt what he experienced left Raj bhavan and proceeded towards forest in search of moksha .
The King in this birth attained moksha. Therefore those who did not possess any devotion in this very birth must do japa, dhyana.and studying religious grandhas and be in the midst of Sadhus. Then definitely one can practice. At least in the next birth it will be a treasure. Such people from the balya avastha only start yogabhyasa. For Upadesa Guru or Iswar may come in any disguise one can not imagine. In order to select Guru those desirous of moksha one should be alert and watchful.
