Why Dr.Ambedkar demanded annihilation of caste and embraced Buddhism? The greatest enemy of the Hinduism today is caste system. Dalits and Minorities will have to swallow any insults done by the majority community because they are minorities and cannot attack the majority community. They should be polite and to listen anyone to exploit their sense of decency. It is easier to tolerate than to fight. The easier course of action for them is to blame their own people for being communal, narrow-minded fundamentalists. Indian govt.excellently keeping secularism and protecting the image of the upper caste Hindus as non-communal in the sight of whole world. Dalits and Minorities will suffer any kicks to their bottoms; accept any insults to their gods, prophets and religion to get a pat on their back for being `secular' and tolerant. It is much easier to confront the Dalits and minorities, as they are less Aggressive, less violent and less in number. Fighting the real enemy would require a lot of courage so dalits and minorities choose to make the enemy look saintly and turn against their own people. Therefore dalits and Minorities find faults with their own people rather than addressing those who are actually at the crux of the problem. So they are called communal and fundamentalists, responsible for rioting but never have the courage to criticize the majority upper caste Hindu terrorists who are a threat to the integrity of our country and to the very existence of the secular civilization. If we acknowledge all these problems, we will have to work towards their solution. The cowardly, escapist mentality refuses to acknowledge the problem, so the question of working towards a solution does not arise. We should be secular, peace loving and non- violent. But we accept and practice only those aspects, which suit us. But when it comes to practicing the real philosophies of the scriptures, we back out. We have forgotten the teachings of the Bhagwat Geeta, Quran and Bible, which ask us to fight against the wrong – adharma. Caste system is wrong and inhuman. We are using the tolerant and secular mask to hide our incapacity. We have tampered and molded the doctrine of ahimsa or non-violence to camouflage our inaction. Not protesting against adharma is in fact supporting and encouraging more adharma, which is a greater sin. The ostrich mentality does not help us. Turning a blind eye to our problems will not solve the problems; instead it will only aggravate them. Playing the blind man's bluff is leading us to disaster. Hindus can be dvaitists, advaitists, vishishtadvaitists, and nastiks, Jains, Buddhists and worship any God or Goddess they prefer? Hindus spend time, money and energy in performing poojas, yagyas, Bhagwat path, visiting swamis and Babas. They respect the Sermon on the Mount as Christ said that if one is struck on the right cheek for him to turn the left. Christianity does not preach violence of any kind.
