Now in Democracy means 'By the people for the people and to the people' :- If I am not wrong then it was said by ABRAHAM LINCOLN.
In India, as we see recently in case of Pesticide in soft drinks, when a private lab confirmed that these soft drinks do not follow EU norms. They have 15-20 times more pesticides. One thing is very clear that our government is not at all serious about health programme. It does not have proper standards to prevent this type of mischief. After declaring by private lab all Members of Parliament(M.P.) banned cool drinks in parliament i.e. it will not be available only in parliament and whole India can drink it, because they ( M.P.) take care only about their health, they don't bother about ordinary Indians.
In India not even a single State banned soft drinks completely, they said we will take action after report, inquiry is going on. Even in parliament after accepting that these soft drinks contains more pesticide than E.U. norms, no action has been taken and Joint Parliamentary Committee has been set up for again interrogation. Government don't want to lose revenue which is earned from this company. In Europe and America, these companies are correct in standard. So why there is a dual policy?
My message to all our friends, you must be aware of these M.N.C Companies. These companies have a good ratio in E.U. while in India they have double standard. Who is responsible for this tragedy? My answer is our government.
