Articles: Poetry | Just started raining - Mrs. saritha pasumarty pasumarty

Over the tips of leaves,
Are the shiny dew drops,
As they drop into the half wet sand,
Pops the fragrance of the wet land.
Fly here and there spotted butterflies,
And tunes follow the dancing water as the small waves rise,
Along comes a cool breeze filled with scent and charm,
From the top and sides of hills n roads water flows down.
Birds chirping high, fly trying to hide on,
As they drizzle their wings on the sprinkled water meadows,
Greener grass and colourful flowers sway their hands,
I pat the rain waving my hands on and on.
Out of the grayish black roof of the day,
few rays of sun make their way,
Forms the rainbow, the art of the lord,
Rare the beauty that leaves us stunned.
This arch of earth and gate of heaven,
Wonderful as ever as it has been,
My 'self' feels the mother nature's lovely ties,
And I try cherishing them in these few lines.
