Hi folks
I neva seem to appreciate Rock .. soft-rock kindz compared to other form like Reggae, rAp n Jazz.
I accidentally bumped into this song “Unwell” frm the album ” More than You Think You Are” .. I instantly got glued to this song mabbe coz I cud relate many things of my own .. insomnia or be it ponderin too much .. wat eva be the case .. I shd say the album, as a whole, is a coherent, bittersweet mixture of upbeat rock songs and meaningful, heart-warming ballads that are all epitomized by the outstanding songwriting and vocal talents of Rob Thomas. Another thing that amazes me is the bolder, edgier approach through incorporating French horns, rockier balladry, sitars, mellotrons and even gospel choirs into its impressive sound…..As a result .. the whole album profusively oozes with the class of the fusion. Such welcome diversity solidities Matchbox Twenty's role as the quintessential soft rock act in a world over-populated with copycats and uninspired pop trash. Indeed, listening to the production is akin to a magnificent, sweeping journey of inspirational highs, moments of peaceful reflection and touching lows.
I felt I would be greedier than Midas if I dun let others knw .. that’s wat bring me here ..u can have a glance at this masterpiece and breeze with the guitar riffs, distinctive vocals and emotional lyrics thru the mellifluous voice of Rob Thomas . Go Ahead , and fall in love with Matchbox Twenty .
