Jst now I came across few comments made by some people for an article in this portal..
Then I started thinking the use of comments.. For what they r meant….
Everybody has the right to express their views, ideas and innovative thoughts in any form .. either it may be a story or a novel or any thing… unless it hurts others feelings..
If we like them and feel it is interesting we read it otherwise we simply leave it..
It's all up to our wish … Nobody forces us to read it and post the comments…
Our comment shold have one or the other purpose
--- It can be in an appreciative way that encourages the writer
---We can suggest something to the writer so that it will be helpful to her/him in their future
---If we agree with their feelings we can express the same.
---If we don’t like or disagree we can tell that also because no two on the earth thinks in the same way.
But the problem comes with abusive comments.. They may not be verbal scoldings.. but they may make the writer to loose his confidence in his own writings…If you don’t like any thing you just tell them that you don’t like it and the reason why you don’t like it.
But nobody has the right to suggest the writer to stop writing.. Is it correct to try to control others in this manner (If it is harmful to the society it is an exceptional case).
Our comments should be always in a thoughtful way but not in a discouraging way..
