Articles: My Thoughts | Life - Balance - Mrs. manjari

In today's world we all are busy, busy, busy all the time. Husband has no time to talk to his wife. Wife has no time to talk to her loving kids. Because every one is running and running from morning till night. No time to reflect even about what we are doing. Why we are doing? Elderly parents have to lead their precious fag end of lives in Ashrams and children have no time even to go and see them and talk to them. They think by just paying the money to the Ashram, they are doing a great duty. But there are exceptions. Those are really lucky and blessed people. The reason for this so called busy lives is money.
We have not drawn any limit for earning. We always compare our bank balance with our close relatives or friends or for that matter anyone who seems to be better off. Once I came across a person whose life seemed to be heaven. Palatious bunglow and expensive life style and beautiful family. But one day I was shocked to know that there is no relationship amongst family members and the person is under depression and he wants to search for that so called connection elsewhere, outside home.
We all know what kind of results these life styles produce. Wife is a big industrialist and she comes home in a big expensive car in the midnight and whoever feels hungry will go to kitchen and take what they like. (No one to cook with love. Bread is the food they eat all the time). No feelings for each other and no sharing or caring in the home. Is it called life?
I am not sure. Again people say 'they are happy like that' why should we bother? Yes. Happiness is a perception again and we can not measure it. But our real consciousness knows what we are. So for a little change, if we give a thought to the following, it looks really meaningful. Hope you all agree with me. Please give your valuble time to think about it and if we can mend our ways, definitely, we will have a healtheir and happier life styles.
