To day, while travelling, I thought that, If the world has to be beautiful and at least most people should be happy we need Gods.. Plenty of Gods near around us, who are visible, accesible and understanding.
As we know they we can not talk to Gods; they will not meet us.
Though, I find my thought to silly, I still feel that its possible to have many Gods around us.
Most of us pray God for petty reasons seeking petty things.
If we think of God to satisfy our simple to complicate desires.
But .. these desires can be fullfilled by some resourceful people. Gods need not be disturbed. Maney of us can play the role of Gods in what ever possible way we can.
Suppose.. Satish desires to have a chacolete, a beautiful dress, may be Harish or Naresh can work out to satisfy these desires.
Likewise, if most of the people are resourceful
(Not necessarily lakpatis in monetary terms but in terms of kindness of hearts)
And if they go on to satisfy the simple desire of the needy, and if, over a period of time, if these people grow in number manifold,
What will happen? or
Will ‘the God’ be forgotton by many people.... or will these satisfied peole think that all of us are Gods...
Or
If most of us change our attitudes towards the people in trouble / need by coming out of our ... ever selfish thinking of ourseleves in the wold of money.
Thinking about our personal requirements, enjoyment and luxories ...
To start thinking of the lives of the people arounds us or many others about whom we pretty well known of their pecuniary position...
Or the section of people who do not have even to eat, or those students who are intelligent but who dont have money to buy books,
Or those who do not come accross people who inspire / motivate them for better performance...
What will happen?
If we start listening to and attending to them. Will the needy not call us ods..
After all God means good.
If there are miollions of people doing good to others, thinking good & and talking good of others,
If the number of people who are becoming happy, because of the these efforts, are increasing at a faster pace we will be called / seen as Godlike... Gods.. certainly.
If we really are concerned about others / their problems and work out ways and means to address them effectively. We can spread happiness and can see smiles on millions of people. Having born as human being we should not forget humanity.
Though i do not suggest that we should boast as Gods, at seast by thinking like that we may regain our lost humanity in us, some sane people will appreciate us for our putting efforts to live like meaningful human beings
