Ingredients: | | | Wheat | : | 500 gm | | Mutton | : | 150 gm | | Water | : | 3 ltrs | | Onion | : | 1 (sliced) | | Cashew nuts and Raisins | : | to decorate | | Ginger Garlic Paste | : | 1 tsp | | Cloves | : | 2 | | Cinnamon | : | 2 | | Cardamom | : | 2 | | Garam Masala Powder | : | 1 tsp | | Whole Bengal Gram | : | 1 tbsp(optional) | | Whole Green Gram | : | 1 tbsp (optional) | | Lemon | : | 1 | | Ghee | : | 2 tbsp | | Salt | : | to taste | |
| Preparation: | | | Clean, wash and mince mutton finely. Soak grams in enough water for 2-3 hours. Wash, soak and grind wheat rawa into a coarse paste. Heat ghee in a very heavy bottomed vessel and add ginger-garlic paste into it. Fry for a few minutes. Add spices, onions, turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste, salt, soaked and drained grams and ground wheat. | | Add water, cover and cook on a low heat till the mutton becomes tender. Mash or grind the mixture well. Remove from fire sprinkle lemon juice and garnish with fried cashews and raisins. |
