Ingredients: | | | Fresh Coconut | : | ½ (grated) | | Black Gram | : | 1¾ tbsp | | Bengal Gram | : | 3 tbsp | | Red Chillies | : | 3 | | Asafoetida | : | ¼ tsp (powdered) | | Mustard Seeds | : | ½ tsp | | Oil | : | 1 tsp | | Ghee | : | ½ tsp | |
| Preparation: | | Heat 1 tsp of oil in a pan and add black gram, Bengal gram, red chillies, and mustard seeds to it. Fry all them till good aroma comes finally add asafetida and turn off the stove. Transfer the fired ingredients into a plate and let it come to room temperature. | | Heat ghee in the same pan and fry coconut till it turns golden brown in colour.Grind the fried ingredients (except coconut) to a coarse powder, add fried coconut and run the mixer for a few seconds. | | This powder tastes good when mixed with hot rice and ghee. | |
