| | Preparation: | | | | Clean, wash and soak dal for half an hour. Drain and grind it to a fine paste. Fry ground dal in ghee, stirring constantly till it turns light brown in colour. | | | | Make sugar syrup of one thread consistency and add to the fried dal. When no syrup is left add raisins and remove from fire. | | | | Serve hot, decorated with chopped almonds and cashew nuts. | | |
