Ingredients: | | | Green Gram | : | 250 gm (washed) | | Sugar | : | 400 gm | | Ghee | : | 200 gm | | Almonds | : | 10 (chopped) | | Raisins | : | 10 | | Cashewnuts | : | 5 | |
| Preparation: | | Clean, wash and soak dal for half an hour. Drain and grind it to a fine paste. Fry ground dal in ghee, stirring constantly till it turns light brown in colour. | | Make sugar syrup of one thread consistency and add to the fried dal. When no syrup is left add raisins and remove from fire. | | Serve hot, decorated with chopped almonds and cashew nuts. | |
