Ingredients: | | | Rice Flour | : | 4 cups | | Maida | : | 1 cup | | Roasted Gram Flour | : | 1 cup | | Red Chilli Powder | : | 3-4 tsp | | Dry Coconut | : | 1 | | White Sesame Seeds | : | 1 tbsp | | Hot Oil | : | 4 big curry spoons | | Oil | : | for frying | | Salt | : | to taste | |
| Preparation: | | Sieve flours and mix them together. Grind grated coconut with chilli powder and salt to make a smooth paste adding enough water. Mix the ground paste to the flours mixture. Add hot oil, sesame seeds and mix well. Knead it into soft and stiff dough, sprinkling enough water. | | Take small portions of dough and roll them into 3” long thin shapes and join their ends to form a ring. Prepare the rings in the same way till the dough is completed. Deep fry the rings in hot oil till they turn golden brown in colour. Let them cool and store them in airtight containers. |
