Rice Starch Wafers

Ingredients:
 
 Thick Rice Starch:4 cups (drained from cooked rice)
 Plain Flour (Maida):½ cup
 Green Chillies:3-4 (ground to a fine paste)
 Cumin Seeds:2 tsp
 Salt:to taste
 Water:1 glass
 
Preparation:
 
Mix flour in water without forming lumps. After that add starch, green chilli paste, cumin seeds and salt. Mix all the ingredients well. Transfer the mixture into a heavy bottomed vessel and put it on fire. Keep stirring continuously on a medium fire. When the mixture becomes thick remove from fire and let it cool for some time.
 
Spread a clean and thick white cloth (or a transparent plastic sheet) under sun light. Place spoonfuls of the mixture to make a thicker circle all over the cloth leaving 6 cm distance. Let it dry under hot sun completely. In the evening remove the dried wafers from the cloth (sprinkling water at the back side of the cloth if necessary).
 
Place the wafers again under sun light the following day. When the wafers are completely dry, deep fry in hot oil and serve with meal.
