| Ingredients: | | | | | Cashew Nut Powder | : | 1 cup | | | Almonds | : | 1 cup | | | Sugar | : | 1½ cup | | | Ghee | : | 4 tbsp | | | Cardamom Powder | : | 1 tsp | | | Milk | : | as required | | |
| | Preparation: | | | | Soak almonds in water for 2 hrs. Drain and grind them coarsely, using enough milk. | | | | Take a heavy bottomed pan or a non-stick pan. Add ground almond, powdered cashew and sugar. Mix together all the ingredients well. Cook on a medium flame, stirring continuously. Add ghee little by little while stirring. Keep stirring till the mixture becomes thick and starts to leave the sides of the pan and forming into a clean ball. | | | | Add cardamom powder at this stage and turn off the heat immediately. Pour this mixture into a greased plate or on a butter paper or on an aluminium foil. Roll thinly with a greased roller. Let it become warm and cut into desired shape. | | |
