Ingredients: | | | Rajma (Red Kidney Beans) | : | 100 gm | | Black Gram | : | 50 gm | | Bengal Gram | : | 50 gm | | Tomatoes | : | 2 big (chopped) | | Coriander Powder | : | ½ tsp | | Garam masala Powder | : | ¼ tsp | | Onion | : | 1 big (chopped) | | Butter | : | 50 gm | | Ginger Garlic Paste | : | ½ tsp | | Green Chillis | : | 2 chopped | | Mustard Seeds | : | ½ tsp | | Cumin Seeds | : | ½ tsp | | Red Chilli Powder | : | ½ tsp | | Turmeric Powder | : | ¼ tsp | | Fresh Cream | : | 1 tbsp(optional) | | Coriander Leaves | : | 1 tbsp(chopped) | | Oil | : | 2 tbsp | | Salt | : | to taste | |
| Preparation: | | Clean wash and soak rajma, black gram and bengal gram for at least 10-12 hours. Pressure cook rajma, bengal gram and black gram. Mash them a little and reserve. | | Heat butter in a pan, add mustard seeds and cumin seeds and fry until they splutter. Add ginger garlic paste and chopped chillies. Fry for few minutes and add chopped onions and tomatoes. Cook till done. Add salt, red chilli powder, garam masala powder and turmeric powder. Stir well. | | Add mashed rajma mixture and cook on a medium flame for few minutes. Add cream, corainder leaves and mix well. And Dal Maharani is ready to serve! | |
