| Ingredients: | | | | | Pineapples | : | 2 medium sized | | | Sugar | : | 500 gm | | | Khoya | : | 250 gm (crumbled) | | | Sponge Cake | : | 250 gm | | | Saffron | : | few strands | | | Almonds | : | 2 tbsp (sliced) | | | Pistachios | : | 2 tbsp (sliced) | | | Fresh Cream | : | 1 cup | | |
| | Preparation: | | | | Heat ghee, saffron and ppineapple together. Saute till pineapple softens. | | | | Add sugar, khoya and 1/3 crumbled sponge cake. Cook for half an hour on low fire stirring continuously. | | | | When the halwa thickens, sprinkle remaining crumbled spnge cake over it. Garnish with sliced nuts, beaten fresh cream and serve. |
