Ingredients: | | | Carrot | : | 1 | | Beans | : | 10 | | Cauliflower | : | 25 gm | | Potato | : | 1 big | | Green Peas | : | 10 gm | | Onion | : | 1 | | Tomatoes | : | 2 | | Cashew Nuts | : | 25 gm | | Poppy Seeds | : | 25 gm | | Ginger Garlic Paste | : | 2 tsp | | Salt | : | to taste | | Garam Masala Powder | : | 1 tsp | | Red Chilli Powder | : | 3 tsp | | Coriander Powder | : | 4 tsp | | Cumin Powder | : | 2 tsp | | Kasuri Methi | : | 1 tsp | | Oil | : | 4 tbsp | |
| Preparation: | | Wash, chop and cook carrot, beans, potatoes, cauliflower along with green peas. Grind cashew and poppy seeds together into a smooth paste. Heat oil in a heavy bottomed pan. Add onions fry for 2 minutes. Add tomatoes and fry for few minutes. Add cashew paste, ginger garlic paste, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, salt, red chilli powder and fry till the mixture turns golden brown in colour. | | Now add cooked vegetables to this mixture add 1 cup of water if necessary and cook covered for 2 minutes. Remove the lid and cook for 2-3 minutes. | | Remove from fire and garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or rotis. |
