Ingredients:
 
 Whole Wheat Flour:1 cup (200 gm)
 Plain Flour (Maida):3 cups (600 gm)
 Salt:1½ tsp (7gm)
 Sugar:1 tbsp (15gm)
 Fresh Yeast:25 gm
Yoghurt:4 tbsp (60 ml)
 Butter:as required
 White Sesame Seeds:1 handful
 
Preparation:
 
Dissolve yeast in warm water. Sift together wheat flour and plain flour. Mix flours, salt, sugar and yoghurt well.
 
Add in soaked dissolved yeast into it. Mix again well. Make the mixture into stiff and soft dough adding enough water. Cover the dough with a clean and damp cloth and let it stand for 20 minutes. Knead again and cover with cloth. Keep it in a warm place for more than half an hour and allow it to rise.
 
Roll the dough into 1.5 cm thick small puri sized circles. Stick the circles inside the lid of a hot tandoor. Bake them for about 5 minutes. Sprinkle sesame seeds over the naans and press gently.
 
Fry the baked naans in butter and serve hot!
