Sweet & Sour Chutney

Ingredients:
 
Dates:100 gm (seedless)
 Raisins:100 gm
 Jaggery:100 gm
Tamarind:lemon sized
 Salt:1 tsp
Roasted Cumin Powder:1 tsp
Red Chilli Powder:1 tsp
 Garam Masala Powder:1 tsp
 
Preparation:
 
Cook dates and raisins in little water and grind it to make a smooth paste. Extract thick juice from tamarind. Mix this juice along with the ground paste. Add salt and grated jaggery.
 
Cook the mixture over a low fire and bring it to one boil. Add cumin powder, red chilli powder and garam masala powder. Let it boil for 10 minutes, remove from fire and let it reach room temperature. Store it in airtight bottle.
