| Ingredients: | | | | | Medium Cabbage | : | 1 | | | Green Chillies | : | 4 (slit lengthwise) | | | Salt | : | to taste | | | Turmeric powder | : | a pinch | | | Broken Red Chillies | : | 2 | | | Mustard Seeds | : | ½ tsp | | | Split Black Gram | : | ½ tsp | | | Curry Leaves | : | 1 spring | | | Grated Fresh Coconut | : | 2 tbsp | | | Oil | : | 2 tsp | | |
| | Preparation: | | | | Heat oil in a frying pan. Add mustard seeds, black gram broken red chillies, fry till mustard splutters. Add turmeric powder, curry leaves, cabbage and green chillies. Mix well. Cover and cook on a low fire till cabbage becomes tender. | | | | Remove the lid, add salt and stir fry till cabbage becomes dry. Before removing from fire add grated coconut and mix well. |
