| Ingredients: | | | | | Green or Red Chillies | : | 250 gm (big size) | | | Sesame Seeds | : | 2 tbsp | | | Ginger Garlic Paste | : | 1 tbsp | | | Grated Fresh Coconut | : | 3 tbsp | | | Chironji | : | 1 tbsp | | | Salt | : | ½ tsp | | | Cumin Seeds | : | 1 tbsp | | | Dry Red Chillies | : | 3 | | | Tamarind Pulp | : | ½ cup | | | Oil | : | 2 tbsp | | |
| | Preparation: | | | | Wash and clean green chillie. Boil the chillies in salted water for about 3 minutes. | | | | Grind together sesame seeds, coconut, red chillies and chironji to a smooth paste. | | | | Heat oil in a frying pan add cumin and when it starts to splutter, add ginger garlic paste and fry for 2 minutes. Add tamarind pulp and cook for a while. Add ground paste, salt and cook for few minutes. Add water if necessary. | | | | When the gravy becomes thick, remove fro fire. Serve with biryani, pulav or chapathis. |
