Ingredients: | | | Soya Flakes | : | ½ cup | | Semolina | : | 1 cup | | Ginger | : | small piece | | Green Chillies | : | 3 (chopped finely) | | Beans | : | 1 tbsp (chopped) | | Carrot | : | 1 tbsp (chopped) | | Onion | : | 1 medium(chopped) | | Mustard seeds | : | ½ tsp | | Bengal Gram | : | 1 tsp | | Black Gram | : | 1 tsp | | Cumin Seeds | : | ½ tsp | | Groundnut | : | 1 tbsp | | Curry Leaves | : | 10 (chopped) | | Salt | : | to taste | | Water | : | 1½ cups | | Oil | : | for tempering | | Lemon | : | ½ | | Ghee | : | 1 tbsp | |
| Preparation: | | Heat oil in a heavy bottomed pan. Add mustard seeds, black gram and bengal gram and fry till golden brown color add chopped curry leaves and ginger. Fry for few seconds. | | Add onion and green chilli, chopped vegetables and fry for a while. Add water, salt and bring the mixture to a boil. | | Sprinkle soya flakes & semolina little by little and cook on low flame stirring constantly. Cook till the mixture turns into a thick ball. Sprinkle lemon juice and mix well. | | Top it with ghee and serve hot! |
