Ingredients: | | | Milk | : | 1 ltr | | Sugar | : | 3/4 cup | | Condensed Milk | : | ½ cup | | Raisins | : | 2 tbsp | | Poppy Seeds | : | 1 tbsp | | Alomonds | : | 15 tsp | | Pistachios | : | 1 tbsp | | Walnuts | : | 10 (shelled) | | Saffron | : | 5-6 strands | |
| Preparation: | | Soak saffron in little milk. Make walnuts into samll pieces. Grind almonds and pistachios into coarse powder. Soak poppy seeds in water for 15 minutes and grind to fine paste. | | Pour milk in a heavy bottomed vessel and bring it to boil. Reduce the falme and add poppy paste. Mix well and cook on a low flame till the milk is reduced to half. Add chopped dry fruits, soaked saffron and cook for 5-8 minutes. | | Finally stir in condensed milk and put off fire. Top with reserved walnut pieces and serve hot or chilled! |
