Ingredients: | | | Butter | : | 250 gm | | Plain Flour | : | 2 cups | | Corn Flour | : | cup | | Castor Sugar | : | 3/4 cup | |
| Preparation: | | Preheat oven at 160C. Sift plain flour and corn flour. | | Beat butter and sugar together in a mixing bowl until the butter is creamy and light. Add flours. Make the mixture into a soft dough. Knead the dough on a floured surface to make it soft and smooth. | | Grease a 28/18 cm rectangular cake tray and line it with butter paper. | | Press the prepared dough into the lined try and cut lines at equal distances to give it desired shapes. Prick the dough with fork. Bake the bread for 40 minutes till it turns golden brown in colour. | | Serve with tea! |
