Pat the chicken pieces to dry and marinate with all the other ingredients for half an hour.
Heat 2-3 tbsp of oil in a pressure pan. Add marinated chicken and fry for about 5 minutes and add 1 cup of hot water, cover it with lid and cook for 2 whistles.
Simmer the flame and cook for about 5 minutes. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with steaming rice.
