| Ingredients: | | | | | Plain Flour (Maida) | : | 2 cups | | | Butter | : | 3/4 cup | | | Salt | : | 3-4 pinches | | | Baking Powder | : | ¼ tsp | | | Baking Soda | : | 2 pinches | | | Oil | : | as required | | | Milk | : | 3-4 tbsp | | | Strawberry Sauce | : | 3-4 tbsp | | |
| | Preparation: | | | | Pre heat oven to 180c. Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt twice. Add butter and strawberry sauce. Mix well. Slowly add milk and knead into a soft and smooth dugh. | | | | Divide the dough into 4 equal portions. Gently roll out each portion into a ¼' chapathi. Using a round cookie cutter cut the chapathi into shapes. | | | | Grease an oven tray with oil. Place the cookie tray and bake between 90-100C. till the cookies turn golden brown. Put off the oven and leave in the oven to cool. | | | | Store the cookies in airtight containers. |
