Ingredients: | | | Paneer | : | 1 cup(mashed) | | Corn Flour | : | 2 tbsp | | Salt | : | to taste | | Fresh Green Peas | : | ½ cup (for garnishing) | | | For Stuffing: | : | | | Green Peas | : | 1 cup (boiled) | | Green Chillies | : | 1 tsp (finely chopped) | | Cumin Seeds | : | ½ tsp | | Ghee | : | 1 tsp | | Coriander Leaves | : | 1 tbsp (chopped) | | Ginger | : | 1 tsp (grated) | | Salt | : | to taste | | Oil | : | for frying | |
| Preparation: | | Mix together paneer, corn flour and salt well. Mash half of the boiled peas. Heat ghee in a vessel and fry cumin seeds. Add green chillies, coriander leaves, salt, and ginger. Fry for one minute and add mashed peas. Mix well and remove from fire and let it reach room temperature. | | Take a small portion of the dough, flatten it a littleand put a spoonful of green peas mixture in the centre. Cover the stuffing by drawing the edges of the dough together. Press gently to form a tikki. Repeat the same process for the rest of the dough. | | Place a peper on each. Arrange the tikkis on a hot non stick pan, and sprinkle little ghee around the edges of the tikkis. Fry till they turn golden on both sides. | | Garnish with green peas and serve with tomato sauce. |
