Dessert Buns

Ingredients:
 
 Plain Flour:2 cups
 Bengal Gram Flour:1 cup
 Oil:3/4 cup
 Sugar:1 cup (powdered)
 Cardamom Powder:½ tsp
 Dessicated Coconut:2 tbsp
 
Preparation:
 
Mix together flour, gram flour, sugar, oil and cardamom powder and knead into a stiff dough without adding water. Divide the dough to make 30 equal balls by greasing your palms.
 
Flatten each ball using your palms and place small portion of dessicaed coconut in the middle. Cover the edges and flatten it gently. Repeat th 5af e procedure to the remaining dough.
 
Bake the dessert buns in a preheated oven at 200C for about 20 minutes. Put off the oven and leave the buns to cool down in the oven for 5 minutes more. Store in air tight containers.
 
Note: Shelf life - one week.
