Ingredients: | | | Chicken Breasts | : | 2 (boneless) | | Bengal Gram Flour | : | ½ cup | | Ginger Garlic Paste | : | 2 tsp | | Ajwain Seeds | : | ½ tsp | | Orange Food Colour | : | ½ tsp | | Garam Masala Powder | : | ½ tsp | | Turmeric Powder | : | ½ tsp | | Red Chilli Powder | : | ½ tsp | | White Pepper Powder | : | ½ tsp | | Salt | : | ½ tsp | | Water | : | ½ cup | | Lemon Juice | : | of 2 lemons | | Coriander Leaves | : | 2 tbsp (finely chopped) | | Sesame Seeds | : | 3 tbsp | | Oil | : | for frying | |
| Preparation: | | Mix together gram flour, water, ajwain, ginger garlic paste, food colour and garam masala powder. Sprinkle water and make the mixture itn a thick batter and set it aside. | | Cut chicken into 7.5 cm pieces. Prepare marinade with lemon juice, trmeric, red chilli, white pepper powder, salt and coriander leaves. Apply the marinade mixture to the chicken pieces completely and keep it aside for 2 hours. | | Heat oil in a thick bottomed pan. Dip the marinated chicken pieces in the gram batter, coat with sesame and deep fry till it turns golden brown. Keep it on an absorbent paper and serve hot with mint chutney! |
