Spinach Patties

Ingredients:
 
 Spinach:½ kg
 Bengal Gram:100 gm
 Cumin Seeds:20 gm
 Paneer:100 gm (mashed)
 Garam Masala Powder:20 gm
 Roasted Gram Powder:50 gm
 Cashew Nuts:20 gm (chopped)
 salt:to taste
 Oil:for frying
 
Preparation:
 
Clean and wash spinach. Grind it to a paste and keep aside. Boil bengal gram, mash it and keep aside.
 
Heat oil in a heavy bottomed pan. Add cumin and spinach paste. Fry till oil leaves at the edges. Add mashed gram, paneer and cook for few minutes. Allow it to cool.
 
Add salt, garam masala, cashew nuts and roasted gram powder to this mixture and mix well.
 
Make small balls out of the mixture and shape it into patties. Fry in hot oil till golden brown. Serve with ketchup and mint chutney.
