| Ingredients: | | | | | Spinach | : | ½ kg | | | Bengal Gram | : | 100 gm | | | Cumin Seeds | : | 20 gm | | | Paneer | : | 100 gm (mashed) | | | Garam Masala Powder | : | 20 gm | | | Roasted Gram Powder | : | 50 gm | | | Cashew Nuts | : | 20 gm (chopped) | | | salt | : | to taste | | | Oil | : | for frying | | |
| | Preparation: | | | | Clean and wash spinach. Grind it to a paste and keep aside. Boil bengal gram, mash it and keep aside. | | | | Heat oil in a heavy bottomed pan. Add cumin and spinach paste. Fry till oil leaves at the edges. Add mashed gram, paneer and cook for few minutes. Allow it to cool. | | | | Add salt, garam masala, cashew nuts and roasted gram powder to this mixture and mix well. | | | | Make small balls out of the mixture and shape it into patties. Fry in hot oil till golden brown. Serve with ketchup and mint chutney. | | |
