Carrot Halwa

Ingredients:
 
 Grated Carrot:8 cups
 Milk:6 cups
 Sugar:2 cups
 Ghee:4 tbsp
 Almonds:few
 Cashew Nuts:few
 Saffron:for flavouring
 Cardamoms:for flavouring
 
Preparation:
 
Fry grated carrot in ghee. Add milk and cook till very soft. Add sugar and mix well. cook over a low flame till sugar is dissolved completely.
 
Cook till the mixture turns into a soft ball. Add crushed cardamoms and saffron.
 
Garnish with chopped nuts. Serve hot or cold as desired.
