Sweet Fried Plantains

Ingredients:
 
 Ripe Bananas:2 (firm)
 Sugar:1 cup
 Ground Cinnamon:1½ tsp
 Oil:for frying
 Ice Cream:1 cup
 
Preparation:
 
Heat oil in a heavy bottomed saucepan over medium. Line a large plate with papaer tissue.
 
Peel plantains and discard skins. Slice into ¼' thick pieces. Fry plantains in oil, turning occasionally, until golden brown color. The longer they fried the sweeter they are. Take them out with perforated spoon and drain on paper towels. Sprinkle little salt over the plantains. Keep them warm.
 
Put sugar and cinnamon together in a brown paper bag, drop the warm plantains into the bag, and shake well to coat evenly. Serve with ice cream.
