Ingredients: | | | Potatoes | : | 1 kg | | Oil | : | for deep frying | | Salt | : | to taste | |
| Preparation: | | Wash and peel potatoes. Slice them very thin using a potato slicer. | | Soak the slices at once into a bowl of ice cold water and let stand for at least one hour. Or keep the bowl in a fridge. | | Pat the slices dry with a clean cloth. | | Fry in hot oil until a light golden brown. Don't fry too many at once. | Drain on paper towels or any kind of absorbent paper. | | Salt lightly. Let them cool and store sealed in plastic bags or airtight containers. |
