Ingredients: | | | Semolina (Suji) | : | 2 cups | | Milk | : | 2 cups | | Sugar | : | 1 cup | | Ghee | : | ¼ cup | | Water | : | 3 cups | | Cardamom Powder | : | a little | | Cashew and Almonds | : | 2 tbsp (chopped) | | Raisins | : | 1 tbsp | |
| Preparation: | | Take milk and water into a vessel and bring it to a boil. Add sugar and boil till the sugar is completely dissolved. Keep medium heat and cook 2 minutes stirring occasionally. Remove from fire and keep it aside. | | Heat ghee in a pan on medium flame and add semolina. Stir fry on 7 minutes or till the semolina is lightly roasted. Take care not to burn semolina. | | Now add prepared milk and mix well. Cook on low heat for about 3 minutes, stirring periodically. When the mixture is dry sprinkle cardamom powder, chopped nuts and raisins. | | Serve hot. |
